How'd you spend your morning?

West Valley City Fire and South Salt Lake Fire departments battled a blaze in a vacant home, near 3000 s and 3000 w early Thursday morning. The call came in at about 9:00 AM and when crews arrived the home was fully engulfed on the second story and large volumes of smoke could be seen in the Salt Lake Valley. It took crews about 30 minutes to get a solid knock down on the fire and crews worked through a process called overhaul to extinguish the remaining hot spots. Great work from the crews protected nearby homes from becoming involved in the blaze. Believe it or not this was a single alarm fire. Investigators were able to determine where the fire started but the cause of the fire was undetermined
